Talent Acquisition Manager, FSS/ISS

We’re investing in tools, technologies, employment branding initiatives, and were making hires to ensure were best positioned to win the ongoing war for talent. Our Recruiters are full cycle, but we have a coordinator team to support you and a sourcing team that focuses on building talent pools for our go-to skill sets.

As a Talent Acquisition Manager you will:

  • Manage a team of recruiters (10+) geographically dispersed
  • Actively manage Key Performance Indications, develop, lead, and execute talent acquisition strategies to ensure all recruitment activities are consistent with the company's mission, vision, and values and hiring goals
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and team to understand current needs as well as forecast future hiring needs.
  • Develop innovative strategies using research in the latest recruitment trends to provide recommendations to management on how to optimize and integrate these trends into daily practice.
  • Provide on-going coaching to your recruiting team to ensure they are supported in their professional development to include providing opportunities for continuous learning on current trends and industry knowledge
  • Consults with hiring managers and executives, to assist in the creation of detailed and compelling job descriptions, determine effective screening questions, and post requisitions
  • Sources talent by utilizing the ATS (Workday), job boards, postings, referrals, and attending events
  • Consults with candidates, find out what drives them and guide them through the hiring process
  • Screens talent to ensure candidates are: qualified, cultural fits, and fully vetted for their interest in the role
  • Works on special projects as assigned; including proposal support, new contract transitions, corporate projects including process improvement, or innovation initiatives
  • Travel for site visits, career fairs, or contract transitions (travel percentage is 5% - 10%)

Qualifications:

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, or a related field, commiserate experience may be considered
  • Must have 10 or more years of recruiting experience in the government contracting industry; experience in a pre-deployment or recruiting coordinator role will be considered
  • Knowledge and past use of a web-based applicant tracking system candidate workflow and dispositioning with EEOC and OFCCP compliance
  • Ability to be organized and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, rapidly-changing environment
  • A background in agency staffing, IT recruiting, and/or prior experience in support of large-scale government contractor
  • Business acumen, an understanding of program operations and finance and how this role contributes to the business
  • Must be confident and capable of respectfully pushing back with hiring managers
  • Must be motivated to excel, competitive in nature, does not confuse effort with results
  • Proficient with Microsoft office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Due the types of projects you will work on and have access to, U.S. citizenship is required
